"Oh Bats" Sticker
“Oh Bats” was my grandfather’s go‑to exclamation. His polite, family‑friendly stand‑in for the words he actually wanted to say around my grandmother, who as the daughter of a southern preacher, had very clear opinions about language. It was his way of swearing without technically swearing, a tiny act of compromise wrapped in charm.
I drew this sticker as a nod to that family code: a soft exasperation you use when life throws something at you that demands a reaction, but you’re trying to keep it clean. It’s for anyone who grew up around creative cussing, gentle euphemisms, or the art of saying a lot without saying “the thing.”
