Tithonia, also known as Mexican sunflower, wasn’t born on Oklahoma soil(like me!)—but it thrives here anyway. Tall and unruly(also...like me), it blooms blazing vermilion through the heat and drought like a maniac. And the monarchs? They flock to it. Every fall.
